ROSENTANZ AND JJ TATE
CONTINUE TO RACK UP THE HIGH SCORES!
Topping off the weekend (same weekend as the Proud Meadows Breed Show) was a call from JJ from the VADA/Nova Dressage Show at Morven Park in Virginia...Rose had scored an 80% and a 79.6% at Training Level Test 2 and 4, respectively. These were the two highest scores for the show! A few weeks later Rose and JJ continued their High Score winning streak! At Dressage at Lexington they showed Training Level again and received an 80% on the first day , a 75% on the second day (Rose had a minor spook at the photographer) and on Sunday she got an 82% and an 82.8%. She was High Point Champion and Born in the USA High Point and obviously won all 4 classes she entered. So far, she has been high score of four of the shows she has been entered in. JJ has had Rose a year now, and we are absolutely thrilled with her training.
SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2008
ROSENTANZ CONTINUES HER WINNING WAYS IN 2008!
In her very first dressage show under saddle, Rosentanz with rider, Emilee Reed, received a 74% at Training Level test 4 from Judge Bill Solyntjes. Not only did she win her class, but was the high score of the day!
In Dressage Sport Horse Breeding, Rose has won every class she has entered! At the Texas Dressage Classic I in the 4 y/o & older maiden & yeld mares class she received a 79.3% winning her class; she was also Champion Mare, and was a USDFBC Qualifier.
At Proud Meadows Breed Show I & II, she received a 76.75% and an 81.5%, respectively, for the 4 y/o & older maiden & yeld mares winning her classes. She was also Champion Mare both days, Oldenburg Champion, and High Scoring horse of both shows.
Rosentanz attended the First Annual Oldenburg Horse Show at High Point Hanoverians in October. Klaus Schengbar handled her and presented her under saddle as JJ Tate had a schedule conflict. With a week of preparation, Klaus rode her in the Mare Peformance Test and she received a "Premium" award. On the second day she was the winner of the 4-6 y/o Mare Class and won Reserve Champion of Mature Mare.

ROSENTANZ NOW IN TRAINING WITH JESSICA JO TATE!
I made the difficult decision to move Rose to Maryland and put her in training with the very accomplished Jessica Jo Tate. “JJ” is a talented Grand Prix and FEI Young Horse competitor. She is a USDF Bronze, Silver, & Gold Medalist and is currently competing at Grand Prix with scores at CDIs in the 70% range. JJ has had top placings at Dressage at Devon at Grand Prix and in the FEI Young Horse classes. She has been Champion or Reserve Champion multiple times at the Regional Finals at the national and FEI levels on numerous horses and has been named to the United States Equestrian Team Developing Riders List. In August 2007, JJ was selected to represent the United States in the World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany. JJ and Donnermuth were the highest placing/scoring U.S. rider and horse and ended up with an impressive 7th place finish in the Small Finals. In 2006, JJ was a World Cup Finalist and at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, she placed first in the Grand Prix Special and was FEI High Point Champion. Also in 2006, JJ was one of six chosen out of hundreds of applicants to compete in the "Dressage Idol" contest organized by Robert Dover.
JJ currently trains with and/or has trained with a number of top riders and clinicians, including Scott Hassler, Michael Klimke, Conrad Schumacher, Oded Schimoni, Walter Zettl, Gerhard Politz, Gyula Dallos in Budapest, Hungary, Charles de Kunffy, and Colonel Von Zeigner.
In addition to her accomplishements as a rider and trainer, JJ is an excellent instructor, and a truly wonderful person with an incredible work ethic.

JUNE 2007
ROSENTANZ WINS BIG AT
PROUD MEADOWS BREED SHOW I!
Rose won everything she could possibly win! She won her Fillies of 2004 class with a score 0f 78.4% and went on to win the Filly Championship which qualifies her for the Cosequin finals in Sept. In her second class she was the German Oldenburg Champion with a score of 80%, as well as the high point horse of the day. In the evening Jackie was presented with the “Born in the USA”award. Paul Harmon did an excellent job presenting Rose. She is pictured proudly wearing her ribbons!
Paul has been working with Rose in-hand and also now has her under saddle. She has been very easy to back and takes everything in calmly. She has three spectacular gaits and Paul is already planning her career!
A huge thanks to our vet, Dr. Bill McGee, for successfully getting Rose pregnant and transferring the embryo into one of my other mares. Rose was bred to Highpoint Hanoverians new sensational stallion, Sinatra Song (Sandro Hit x Pik Bube). This beautiful black stallion won the 2005 Hengst Kouring and in 2006 was one of 2 stallions chosen by the Hanoverian Verband to represent them at the very prestigious 2006 Bundeschampionat where he finished in the reserve position. Angela is really thrilled with his temperament. This foal should be one spectacular performance horse!

“Rose”, our 2004 black filly by Rosenthal out of our mare, Wiesentanz, had a spectacular year showing in hand with wins at Lexington, Morven Park, and an impressive third place at Devon. She is third in the nation USDF DSHB Open HOY for two year olds. In the USDF All Breeds final standings, she achieved the highest score for all Oldenburgs of all ages with an 80.85% and is first in the two-year-old fillies.
