ROSENTANZ WINS BIG AT
PROUD MEADOWS BREED SHOW I!

Rose won everything she could possibly win! She won her Fillies of 2004 class with a score 0f 78.4% and went on to win the Filly Championship which qualifies her for the Cosequin finals in Sept. In her second class she was the German Oldenburg Champion with a score of 80%, as well as the high point horse of the day.  In the evening Jackie was presented with the “Born in the USA”award. Paul Harmon did an excellent job presenting Rose. She is pictured proudly wearing her ribbons!

Paul has been working with Rose in-hand and also now has her under saddle. She has been very easy to back and takes everything in calmly. She has three spectacular gaits and Paul is already planning her career!

A huge thanks to our vet, Dr. Bill McGee, for successfully getting Rose pregnant and transferring the embryo into one of my other mares.  Rose was bred to Highpoint Hanoverians new sensational stallion, Sinatra Song (Sandro Hit x Pik Bube). This beautiful black stallion won the 2005 Hengst Kouring and in 2006 was one of 2 stallions chosen by the Hanoverian Verband to represent them at the very prestigious 2006 Bundeschampionat where he finished in the reserve position.  Angela is really thrilled with his temperament. This foal should be one spectacular performance horse!

2007 FOALS ARRIVE!

Roosevelt

On February 21, Wiesentanz delivered another spectacular foal...a gorgeous chestnut colt by Rubino Bellisimo who by 3 days old demonstrated incredible movement and conformation. READ MORE ABOUT TEDDY.

Redford

On May 22, between horse shows and a week long trip to New York City to get Sarah settled in, SPS Whitney presented us with a long-legged chestnut colt by Regazonni. This tall colt has a lovely face and beautiful blaze. Over the last few weeks Redford has been  developing very nicely, with super conformation and sweet character. LEARN MORE ABOUT REDFORD.

Jackie and Nicolai made their Intermediare II debute this past spring receiving scores in the low 60’s. Jackie is hoping to show at Grand Prix this fall to get scores for her USDF gold medal.

BONITA

Bonita

Bonita went to her first horse shows this spring and demonstrated her laid back attitude in the busy warm-up arena. She received 7’s on her gaits and scored in the low to mid 60’s at Training level. Paul was very proud of her and believes that with her desire to please and work ethic she will continue to progress rapidly up the levels.

WIESENTANZ'S OFFSPRING RECEIVE TOP HONORS AT THE HANOVARIAN INSPECTION AT STARGATE SPORTHORSES

Weisentanz & Roosevelt

Our three y/o filly, ROSENTANZ (Rosenthal x Wiesentanz), who is registered German Oldenburg, was presented for approval for Hanoverian breeding. She was chosen as the top non-Hanoverian mare and received a phenomenal score of 8.16 which the judges said was the highest score of any mare on the inspection tour this summer.  She received 9’s for her head and neck and for her walk. Rose is in foal to Sinatra Song (Sandro Hit X Pik Bube) by embryo transfer for a 2008 foal which will be registered Hanoverian. This will allow us to continue Rose’s training.

Wiesentanz’s 2007 colt by Rubino Bellisimo (who is ¾ sibling to Rosentanz) was chosen as the top foal from an outstanding group of 13 foals. He delighted the judges and gallery when he passaged all around the arena which brought gasps followed by spontaneous applause from the gallery. His owner, Jacquie Hawks of Flower Mound, TX, is of course thrilled!

Our 2007 colt out of SPS WHITNEY by Regazzoni was also presented.  The judges commented on his nice head and neck, very good hindquarter, and that he was very elastic in his movement and used his hind end correctly. The judges were very impressed with the quality of foals and mares presented. The facility was great and the stalls were very cool despite the heat. Paul Harmon did an excellent job of presenting the babies and Rose.
