Song'n'Dance
Song 'n' Dance is a 2008 Hanoverian filly by the fabulous Sandro Hit son, Sinatra Song, out of our champion mare, Rosentanz. This elegant jet black filly has a veritable who's who of dressage in her pedigree: Her sire's line is Sandro Hit/Pik Bube II; in the dam line we have the legendary Rubinstein, Karon, and of course, Weltmeyer. Sinatra Song won his private stallion testing, participated in the 2006 Bundachampionate, & won the 4 year and older stallions under saddle at Dressage at Devon in 2007. She is out of a very strong dam line. Her dam is our champion mare, Rosentanz, whose numerous accomplishments include the following: Highest scoring German Oldenburg in 2006 in DSHB, first in USDF All-Breeds for the GOV in her age group for '06, '07, & '08, Grand Champion filly in '07 for USDF Breeders Championship for the Southern Region, & second highest scoring mare on the '07 Hanoverian inspection tour (read more about her dam, Rosentanz). Under saddle, Rosentanz, has been high score of the show for three of her outings with scores as high as 80%. Her grand-dam, Wiesentanz, has produced several outstanding offspring who have done very well at breed shows and are consistently good movers. The oldest of her offspring is by Feinbrand and I am told by the owner that he is very gifted in piaffe and passage.
Song ‘n’ Dance has already started her show career and is following in her mom’s hoofprints. She did extremely well at her first outing to the Proud Meadows Summer Breed Show I and II in June. She got a first and third place in her filly classes, received the second highest score and was Reserve Champion Filly of show II.
Song 'n' Dance has three good gaits, is elegant, refined, easy to handle, and will make a wonderful ladies dressage prospect for an ambitious amateur or professional rider, and is offered for sale to an approved show home.
