Ruidoso

Ruidoso is a dark bay Hanoverian colt out of Wiesentanz by the Dutch stallion, Rousseau, who is producing Champion stallions, mares, and foals across Europe and North America. Rousseau himself is the Silver Medalist of the FEI World Championships for Young Horses. He has made history by producing the “Champion of the KWPN Stallion Show” three years in a row! No other stallion in history has achieved this. His son, Wamberto, not only won the KWPN Stallion Show, but also won the 2007 100-Day Stallion Performance Test at Paxton Farm with an impressive margin. His overall performance index was 158.78, with a dressage index of 168.87 and a jumping index of 145.15, He earned perfect 10’s for his character and canter, and 8’s and 9’s for his walk, trot, and rideability. Five year old "Zippo" (Rousseau - Haarlem), ridden by Patrick van der Meer and six year old mare "Warola" (Rousseau - Ubis), ridden by Leonie Bos, have both made the KWPN long list for the World Championships for Young Horses.

Ruidoso is out of our outstanding dam, Wiesentanz, who has consistently produced offspring with presence, confidence, and outstanding movement. Her offspring are winning in-hand as well as under saddle. Ruidoso is virtually a carbon copy of his famous sire…, he has a very refined head, extremely good bone, excellent conformation, and he moves with power and lightness. This colt has the WOW factor, and will be an outstanding dressage prospect. We would like to see him go to a professional who will train him to his full potential.
